Scope*1.1 These test methods cover solventless varnishes usedprimarily as electrical, mechanical, and environmental protec-tion for electrical equipment.1.2 These test methods are used on solventless varnishesthat are applied by dipping (at atmospheric pressure conditionsor under vacuum followed by pressure or under pressure only),spraying, or brushing for the purpose of impregnating orsealing electrical equipment.
