It provides safety rated outputs that control a process by using the speed of a process as measured by an encoder. Many machines consist of more than one axis (motor), which may be hazardous if not properly safeguarded. An MSR57P relay can be used to monitor each axis and the signals of each MSR57P relay can be cascaded from one axis to another to provide system-level control.
