In foreign countries, the research on residual pressure utilization technology is early,and the pro-cess route is mature,but there are few practical engineering application cases. However,it started late in Chi-na,but it has developed rapidly in recent years with the support of national energy conservation and emissionreduction.The natural gas expansion power generation system is mainly composed of expander. There are fourkinds of power generation equipment in China,including turbine,double rotor,screw and oil-free radialturbine expander,each with advantages and disadvantages.The long-distance pipeline is rich in residual pres-sure resources and has great potential. However,due to the operation characteristics of long-distance pipelineitself,the implementation of residual pressure power generation transformation will face problems such as lim-ited equipment operation conditions and remote geographical location.
