LYLA Board Meeting 05-04-10 In attendance: Bob McGrath, Karen Wasserman, Frances Kenison, Debbie Lewis, Elaine Weidner, Jerome Mackesy, Chris Hastings, Abigail McCune, Bruce Kenison and Kevin Derhak Meeting called to order by Bob at 8:20 PM. Kim- Fundraising - Kim gave out picture packets - Discussed new fundraiser with Domino’s Pizza cards - Can use the card up to 16x (Buy 1 get 1 Free) - discussion about end of year party Debbie- Financials - Reviewed the financials - will look into a price for hats/visors for end of year gifts Kevin- President info - Motion made to make online registration payments by credit card only. Motion passed unanimously - Discussion about registration timeline - cut off date for registration- yes - Motion made to charge more for late registration. Motion passed unanimously - How much to charge? Parking lot this item -Kevin put the coach info into Sportsmanager so that they receive email updates/info - Kevin needs to send out an email about code of conduct for parents Abigail- Membership/Special projects - gave out shirts for the coaches and for the board - Will talk to Cindy Alley about dates to get the HS café for the end of year banquet Bob- Vice President info - trying to get a coaches certified training class done at the end of June but US Lacrosse says not until Sept. -Storage trailer needed before the end of the season Jerome- Fields - 3 ½ cans/field to line. Approx. 1 cs/wk used Chris and Todd- need reps from each team to send to North/ South Festival. Need info right away Meeting adjourned at 9:15 PM
