电力电缆介绍(Introduction of power cable) introduce Brief history The use of power cables has been more than 100 years. In 1879, American inventor Edison T.A. in the brass wrapping and the penetration of jute in an iron pipe, and then filled with asphalt mixture made of cable. He laid the cable in New York and created underground power transmission. The following year, Englishman Callender invented the asphalt impregnated paper insulated power cable. In 1889, the British S.Z. Ferranti laid between London and Deptford 10 thousand volt oil paper insulated cable. In 1908, the UK built 20 thousand volt cable network. Power cables are used more and more widely. In 1911, Germany laid 60 thousand volt high voltage cable, began the development of high voltage cable. In 1913, the German M. Hoch Stette developed component shielded cables, improved the distribution of electric field inside the cable, eliminated the tangent stress of the insulation surface, became a milestone in the development of power cables. In 1952, Sweden laid 380 thousand volt ultra high voltage cables in the northern power plant, realizing the application of EHV cables. By 80s, 1 million 100 thousand volt and 1 million 200 thousand volt ultra high voltage power cables have been made. Basic structure The basic structure of power cable consists of four parts: wire core (conductor), insulation layer, shielding layer and protective layer.
