HSESS STANDARDS Attachment 1 HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT, SOCIAL and SECURITY CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ARTICLE 1 – OGP Saving Rules 1. The COMPANY has implemented a series of mandatory “Life Saving Rules” as part of its integrated Health, Safety Environment, Social and Security Management System (HSESS-MS). The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL comply with the OGP Life Saving Rules on all COMPANY facilities and operations, as they are applicable to the SERVICES. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal of non-compliant personnel from project or site, and may lead to disqualification from future work for the COMPANY and its AFFILIATES, for employees of CONTRACTOR or SUBCONTRACTORS. ARTICLE 2 – HSESS Standards and requirements 1. In performing the WORK CONTRACTOR, shall at all times strictly comply with, and shall ensure that all other members of the CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL, SUBCONTRACTORS and their personnel will strictly comply with all laws, regulations and instructions in regards to Health, Safety, Environmental, Social and Security (HSESS) protection. 2. Prior to the commencement of the WORK, COMPANY may carry out a pre-start up audit on the CONTRACT. In this event CONTRACTOR shall not commence WORK until it has received a start work instruction in writing from COMPANY. 3. The CONTRACTOR shall have a systematic approach to the management of HSESS and maintain a formal HSESS management system (HSESS-MS) which shall, as a minimum, require that the CONTRACTOR: • Has an HSESS Policy and associated programs, standards and procedures in place. • Has a systems to identity and manage risk, which is periodical reviewed and readdress for current and new WORK. • Manage its activities in alignment with the COMPANY HSESS Policies. • The CONTRACTOR shall provide a CONTRACT HSESS Plan which is specific to the WORK, demonstrating the hazards and risks involved in the WORK and have implemented the necessary controls to eliminate, or mitigate the risks. The CONTRACT HSESS PLAN shall align with the COMPANY identified risks and mitigations. • The CONTRACTOR shall ensure that all subcontractors are aligned with HSESS and that documents bridging of such is completed and supplied prior to mobilisation. • Comply with the relevant HSESS legislation and standards whether national, regional, local or otherwise. • All lifting and hoisting equipment is certified and operations are aligned with OGP Guidelines on lifting and hoisting. • Identify hazards associated with WORK activities within a risk register and communicate to the workforce prior to the commencement of WORK. • Identify all risks and hazards associated with the WORK and ensure adequate fit for purpose Emergency Response Plans have been developed and tested.
