英文原文 Research on Disaster Tolerance Strategy for Important IT System Xiaodan Gu, Yu Wang 1 Introduction In brief, Disaster Tolerance (DT) for IT system is aimed at decreasing the data loss and protecting the continuity of operation. But at present, the disaster tolerance mech- anism of IT system is still weak. It is common to backup data with disk storages by different rooms or different mediums, which could ensure the data’s integrality and reliability to a certain extent. However, simple data bac- kup is too feeble to offer the continuity of operation. As the requirements for tasks have been more and more complication and diversification, the important IT system has been faced with opportunities and challenges. The data loss or service interruption in the system caused by disaster would severely influence the accomplishment of tasks, and sometimes the impact would be even fatal. Take the Spaceflight TT&C system for example. It is the belt of communication, TT&C and command, and is related to the whole spaceflight project, even more to the space information contact and ground information support under the environment of info-war. If the data of uplink instructions has been dropped, it would lead to the failure of whole project, and the expense is extremely enormous. So a rounded disaster tolerance project would mitigate the damage to important department in effect by critical data loss. And in addition, it would rapidly increase the efficiency of maintenance personnel in the IT system. Hereby, it is an important part of disaster tolerance project for security construction of IT system. And the hotspots of recent research have been more and more concerned with the reliability and usability in lifecycle of data involving data storage, processing and application. 2 Summary of Disaster Tolerance Generally speaking, Disaster Tolerance could be sorted to local-DT and remote-DT by the zone of actualization. Local-DT is inclined to apply technology of fault- tolerance and redundancy, which is usually actualized by deploying redundant element of hardware, software, information, time etc, and the mode of transferring storage mediums. That is comparatively simple. While remote-DT is to establish one or more system of the same function as the local one at another place. The local system is called the Production Center, while the demote system is called DR Center. The DR center is a backup
