25km/hr305 H12m18m20m5.5m7.5m9.5m24m28m3m6mH12m7.8m Abstract The purpose of this Plan is to set up one full set of a post-hazard temporary bridge and construction skills for proceeding with the design according to the 25 km/hr car speed limit and the limited traffic for 30-ton vehicles, and the designed lifespan will be planned at 5 years for using as the emergency response system for dealing with the bridge damage and traffic interruption and facilitate the execution of restoration and reconstruction after the earthquake and flood hazard. Because the post-hazard temporary bridge system must meet the requirement of being faster in assembly and more convenient for construction, the developed system will be equipped with the benefits of lighter weight and easier assembly. Aiming at the requirement of a varied span, width and quicker work execution, the module-based temporary bridge system will be developed for proceeding with the structural design using modularized and standardized elements and the production of typical drawings so as to compile the SOP and maintenance manual for the assembly and construction of a temporary bridge system and plan the method and location of storing the temporary bridge elements. In the said temporary bridge, the main beam of the superstructure is mainly erected by a steel structure, which can also be divided into two systems, i.e. shape steel beam and truss girder.
