Scope*1.1 This specif i cation covers the quality requirements forcut sizes of glass clad polycarbonate (GCP) for use in buildingsas security, detention, hurricane/cyclic wind-resistant, blast andballistic-resistant glazing applications.1.2 Optical distortion and the evaluation thereof are notcurrently within the scope of the standard. Mockups arerecommended as a method to evaluate glass. (See AppendixX3.)1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are forinformation only.1.4 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
